On Sunday June 21, 2020 we will commemorate our ancestors by giving them a proper burial for the 500+ Slave that were sold on the Arch grounds during the 1700's.
Also in loving memory of the many victims that have loss their lives to the injustice of being Black in America in recent decades. We will say their names.
" If we stand tall, it's because we stand on the shoulders of our ancestors"-African Proverb
We have decided that the time has come to strive for healing. Our ancestors were sold to bondage enduring dehumanizing hate crimes for skin color. St. Louis encamped African and Indian slaves in bondage underground on fourth and locust.
We thank our ancestor for sacrificing their lives and believing that someday little black children generations to come will be made free. No only in the eyes of the Law but in spirit as well.
“You are where you are today because you stand on somebody’s shoulders. And wherever you are heading, you cannot get there by yourself. If you stand on the shoulders of others, you have a reciprocal responsibility to live your life so that others may stand on your shoulders. It’s the quid pro quo of life. We exist temporarily through what we take, but we live forever through what we give.” —Vernon Jordan

Excuse me, what time will this start. My family and I will be there 🙏🏾💙👏🏿👑
